Missing you mom!

It's been a year since I lost my mom and a lot has happened this past year! I wanted to share with you what she wrote and has in her safe deposit box for me to find after she passed.

"We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.

In life, we loved you dearly; In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone.

For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories; Your love is still our guide.

And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same.

But as God calls us one by one. The chain will link again."

This was read at her graveside funeral by a good friend I have know for 40+ years and served over 35+ years in the navy, God bless him for the strength to read this as he knew mom. He lost his mom in a car accident when he was 17.
I have decided it is the hardest thing to lose your mom and cannot fiqure out how my girls will make it when I head to meet our lord. We are so close and they count on me for so much as I count on them in the same way! I cannot imagine not having them in my life.
